Just ordered To Go from La Carreta on Kendall and 117. This USED to be my go to spot for comfort Cuban food. I ordered a large chicken soup and got 8 oz of noddles, broth, carrots, and 3 little pieces of chicken (see photo). Absolutely terrible! The rice tastes old. The tostones are cold and under cooked. The Vaca Frita was about the only saving grace. Overall...terrible. will not be going back.
If you want authentic Cuban, look no further. Lots of locations..have been to 4. Never disappointed!! Recommend a mojito & the gambas "al ajillo". ???? paella ???? carretera is one of our favorites as well!! You wint be disappointed, we recommend to all our family & friends coming to area.
