La Bou Bakery & Café

Horrible, wish I could give zero stars. Bought what I thought were six almond croissants and one slice of apple cake. Went to have them for desert and found out four were ham and cheese with almonds on top. Cake was so dry i couldn't eat it . When I called them this morning the manager argued with me and said that couldn't have happened and no one else complained. Then said I shouldn't have thrown out the ones I said were ham and cheese that we'd started to eat. My husband can't eat cheese. Very poor customer service. Couldn't speak to the owner I got the manager Victor who just wanted to argue with me.

This early morning one of our employees went to pick up some pastries for us to enjoy and don't get me wrong the croissants taste great but the staff member that was helping told him that he couldn't buy 10 croissants which it doesn't say nowhere that they have a limit for items you can purchase. It is not the first time this has happen sense previously another of our employee try to buy the same items over the phone to pick up and got the same response of "no we can not sell you more then 2" taste wise the pastries are delicious but service wise they are rude. If you got a limit on item please put a note where customer know ahead of time.

I love the food at la bou just wish they would open weekends here in west sac
