La Barquita Restaurant

My wife and I are Phoenix natives that grew up in this area and love Mexican food. We have tried many places, including all the chain restaurants. La Barquita has some of the best tasting, traditional Mexican cuisine we’ve had. The menu includes many dishes you will not commonly find at the chains (with flavors you won’t want to miss), as well as the regular favorites. The service and staff are exceptionally courteous, even at their busiest, and the atmosphere promotes a warm, cultural experience. If you are looking for amazing Mexican food, La Barquita is a great choice. It is now our favorite place to eat!

We came down from Tucson Az looking for a good place to eat. It was recommended by a friend. The food was delicious!! All well done. The server Theresa was very sweet and would check up on what was needed frequently. Overall great service. Definitely would go back! :)
