La Barca Grill & Cantina

I give this place a star for effort. I went there last night on June 22, 2021.. I ordered a super burrito and got the carne asada for a dollar more. When the plates were brought to the table they said be careful because it were hot. Well as i dug in the meat insude the burrito was cold along with the rice...On top of that it didnt taste freshly made. The meat was kind of chewy with some nerves. The meat i paid extra for was not carne asada. It was boiled down regular steak meat. The salmon plate they brough my friends son was just 2 small salmon stakes...you kidding me for $22...looked too bland...The costa azul plate also was wortj the 20 dallar plate. A top of that we waited fir the waiter a long time even to give us our check. I will definitely not be coming back unless its with a group of friends to hear the music. As for the food it was a deception just like el torito. I had a to go box when left over. I so wanted to leave that I forgot it. Wasnt worth going back in for.

(Don't confuse this spot for La Barca on Firestone) Shocked to see 4 stars for this restaurant. "House made potatoes" for breakfast plates apparently means soggy french fries. The beans tasted like Rosarita from the can. Honestly the whole meal was subpar, and I usually wouldn't write a review because of one bad meal but the bad service was really the cherry on top. The waitress gave us the bare minimum; Despite looking over at us multiple times she never checked on us the whole meal and was super eager to clear our table at the end. The vibes were off all around here, the food was bad, and we are definitely not going back.

OMG. Came to this place to eat and the service was bad. I ask for a fork never receive it. The kids hamburgers are horrible. The chicken fingers are dried and taste bad. We ask for refills for horchata water and we are were told that refills are charged on water. The food did not have good seasoning. The server was not good would never come to check if we were okay. We had to be calling who ever pass by. So we get our receipt and now the owner charges you a gratitude fee meaning tip. So now tip is not optional the owner set how much tip you are going to pay ???? ????.
