La Ñapa

UPDATED: (in response to La Napa's response) I'm not sure of what you misunderstood. We called in and told you of the mixup, asked if you could remake the item without cheese and have it delivered. We confirmed our address, that you would be sending a replacement arepa, and that we wouldn't be getting charged. I can understand confusion and maybe mistake in accidentally adding the cheese. That's not what I'm upset about. I ended up without a meal last night, since I was waiting for you to deliver a new meal for me. That is what's frustrating. I am extremely disappointed. This is a go to spot for my partner and I. We ordered delivery and the arepa came with cheese when we had asked for no cheese. I have a chronic illness that makes my diet very restrictive. We called to get the order remade and they told us they were remaking it. The restaurant is now closed and we never received the order.

La Napa I love you, and I would also love for you to definitively improve your take out/delivery order experience or not do it at all. Every order I’ve made since my first order has made me question whether or not to order again, but the chicharrones which are never messed up keep me coming back (though it’s been about 6 months since my last order since that was a bad experience). Last night I ordered shrimp arepa and a double cheeseburger. Ate the arepa. My god. Chef put their foot in it. Tonight I took out my double cheeseburger. Instead I found a double…burger. No cheese, no bacon. I can kind of forgive the forgotten bacon but I don’t know a soul in their life who has ordered a double burger- it’s not even on the menu. Someone had to look at this and feel like it was missing something. Sometimes the burger tastes handmade, sometimes it looks and tastes like bulk frozen patties from the way back of the freezer. Really liked the beer, but the food was not very good. The empanada was very thick with little meat inside, it was also very greasy. The chicharron was not good either, it was drench in oil - yes I know, they are supposed to be greasy but not take a bite and your mouth be filled with oil instead of meat. Will come back for the drinks only.
