KSB African and Caribbean Cuisine

First time here I usually frequent island cuisine for authentic Jamaican food. I ordered oxtail they appeared burnt plantains were over cooked and Jamaican flavor was not there. Additionally ordered Jamaican Okra I got what appeared to be African okra with fufu that was good but no turkey meat goes in Jamaican okra. Customer service impeccable but food was ok. Cabbage was ok food was masked with gravy. Store offered to come back in am for fresh batch of oxtail in am so stay tuned. Please don't disguise Jamaican door with African flair. There is a whole different taste

This is my third visit to this restaurant and honestly I didn’t want to rate my experience on the first and second time because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. I have tried 3 different items from the menu and they all taste nasty. The food taste like frozen burnt food microwaved. $17.50 wasted

The food I ordered was very tasty, however i don’t think it was prepared properly. Maybe reheated. A few hours after eating it, I became very sick with food poisoning and had the most debilitating cramps of my life!! Almost had to go to the hospital. As much as I liked the food, I don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again.
