Picked up Halloween donuts for a kids birthday party. I am legitimately embarrassed to bring these to the party. The only saving grace may be that they look so ridiculous that we will get some laughs!
Sadly, Krispy Kreme has just gone downhill over the years. The original glazed are still good but the specialty donuts (like the creme filled pictured) are at least 20% smaller than they were a decade ago and rarely taste fresh. I understand that the latter could be a staffing issue, and I know everyone is struggling with that. Regardless, you’re better off just getting donuts from Schnucks or if you’re willing to drive a bit, Donut Drive-in is fantastic.
Today in the morning I ordered 6 pieces of Chocolate Iced KREME when I came home they were not fresh and there was no cream in them So if there was something less than a star in the rating, I would have put it for you
