Kreyol Delight

My husband and I came here after visiting Busch Gardens, super tired and hungry from the day, and we were immediately greeted with the warmest of welcomes by the young lady in the front. This was our first time eating Haitian food and the young lady was more than happy to give us recommendations. We ended up having a plate of the fried pork and a plate of the fried turkey. The meats were perfectly fried and it came with perfectly cooked plantains, and quite possibly the best and spiciest cole slaw (Pikliz) we ever had. My husband was immediately obsessed, I'll have to figure out how to make it at home. It went well with everything, including the heaping helping of rice that came with the dish. We are definitely back next time we're in town, and will be recommending to everyone!

1st time ordering from Kreyol D. Uber eats was to deliver, I didn't receive the food ordered at $45.00 so upsetting. I informed the restaurant a Haitian delivery man asked my name, acting all suspicious. Shoved a small bag with a bowl in it to me, my order was 2 Lg dinners. I tried stopping him, he's Speaking gibberish jumped in his car and sped off. I told kreyol delight I'm cancelling my order since I just got scammed. They asked my name, said not to cancel they will replace the food. Hours went by & nothing. I contacted my bank & told them what happened. My bank fraud dept got right on it lodging a complaint on my behalf & returned my money. This experience taught me to go inside establishments from now on.

Love it there. I had Cultural Day at work and needed them to be available for me before they open the restaurant. I was relieved that the cook was able to accommodate me. The school I worked at never ate food from an Haitians restaurant. They were very satisfied with the legume, white rice and bean sauce that they ate. Thank you so much for making my first Cultural Day a blast. Vegetarian options: Legume is awesome
