We went to Kreis' for our anniversary. Everything was outstanding. The service was attentive and super friendly. I had the prime rib in my head after reading some reviews so I ordered the king cut. It was perfect and was so big that I got several other meals out of it! My wife ordered the filet topped with grilled shrimp which was fabulous and a more normal size. Finished with cheesecake on the house.
There are reasons that this place has been in business for 75 years. Impeccable service, thanks to our waiter, Matt. I'm sure I wore him out with my silly mood but we were celebrating 27th anniversary and this was my second time to go to dinner in two years! Matt was super friendly, prompt, and he had excellent tips on entree and wine selections. Also thanks to Floyd, who kept the water flowing and the table tidy, always with smiling eyes over his Covid appropriate mask. We asked for a table in the back room, and really enjoyed the beautiful paintings, dark paneling, red accents and romantic ambience. The entire experience was delightful.. Photo of the complementary cheesecake for our anniversary, and a velvety filet mignon, surrounded by succulent garlic shrimp. Now I'm getting hungry again.
I love Great Food. The food was pwrfect and wonderful service! We tried so many different things, each one amazing. Our server was great, engaging and attentive. There was a lovely young girl with a beautiful accent budding for us and the moment a plate was empty or a glass half full she was there. A gentleman was right there to open the door when we arrived. We are the type of people to return to great service and the service here was exceptional.
