Kokai Sushi & Lounge

We celebrated my sister-in-law’s birthday, the food was delicious, same as the sangria. And the service was outstanding. When you come, ask for Mariana, she is really nice, provides great suggestions and make your dinner a great experience!

We had a lovely meal here. I think the traditional sushi is good, but the more fusion sushi dishes (and things shaped like sushi) are really wonderful. There was a roll with fried plantains and it was truly awesome. We had a bit of everything. Another standout was the delice de Coco which was something we had never had and are still dreaming about! I love Japanese food so I don't know how I hadn't visited Kokai before. The food is a bit different and amazing from a regular japanese place, thanks to ita amazing chef, Scarlett, who even took the time to come out and talk to us about the food. You can seat inside (cozy) or outside (in front of the small lake) and the service will be great. Highly recommended!!!
