Knockout Burgers

I am not a regular burger person, usually,,, but this place has amazing burgers. I’ve dinned here 6 times this month! Tasty burgers made to order on a wheat bun … yum … and at a very reasonable price. I actually told the owner that he should raise his prices :-)

You know.. I rarely write negative reviews unless something was unacceptable.. But this one blew my mind. I walked in at 5pm in Monday, the lady was in the bathroom no big deal. Seeing a few people eating I'm assuming they would be serving food. The strangest thing occurred, she tells me the grill is off and no longer serving food. And if I wanted something cheap I can go next door. If you guys close at 9pm, why would be grill be off for the rest of the day? And the smirk when I was surprised definitely told me she just didn't want to serve me. Something really felt uneasy and definitely felt unappreciated. Probably will try another location but this one definitely rubbed me the wrong way.

Been looking for a good cheeseburger in Carlsbad for a while now, and I think I found a place I’ll definitely be coming back to! A nice simple cheeseburger that satisfied my hunger cravings. Portion size was good, and came at a decent price. Would recommend to a friend!
