My friends and had a great time. They have a great soul food menu and the food is good. I usually order the sweet and spicy wings or the catfish filled meal when I visit. The drinks are nice as well. Parking: They have a nice parking lot on the side and in back for their customers. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes! It's on the first floor.
Really good food. Everyone's plates were piping hot and everyone enjoyed their food. Collard greens were tender and yams well seasoned. Fried shrimp were enormous and delicious. My daughter and husband had the yoyo wings - delicious. My burger connoisseur son said his was juicy and delicious. Our server was very friendly and brought me a sample of the dressing even though I didn't order it. I will get it next time. Great place and we will be back. Kid-friendliness: My kids enjoyed it and there were some other kids already there. My kids eat grown folks portions so I don't know if they had a kids menu and we were there at around 4ish so I think as long as you take the kids before 7 you are good. There is large bar and the place was dim so I would say it's definitely for grown folks once the sun goes down.
1st time I ordered wings, collard greens and black eyed peas. Mom got smothered chicken quarter with gravy, cabbage and black eyed peas. All the food was seasoned, and cooked perfectly. Per me and my 92 year old momma. Mom waited in the car. The service was great the atmosphere was inviting and comfortable. They did get quite busy so much they couldn’t answer the phone so if you call and they don’t answer right away or at all they are busy serving up great home style food and service!!
