Very good atmosphere for Friday after work!

We have been dining here since it opened. We went out to pick up a bottle of wine nearby and decided to eat dinner here. The service has always been spotty but has gotten much worse recently. On our previous visit the waiter/bartender told us to sit anywhere and then ignored us. This time we did manage to eventually to catch the waitress/bartender's eye and got seated. My wife ordered a glass of wine. While waiting for the check my wife poured herself a small amount of wine from our bottle to enjoy while waiting for the check. We would not have ordered a second glass in any case. When the waitress brought the take-home box we requested, she saw my wife's 1/4 glass of wine and she went off. "I THINK IT'S INCREDIBLY RUDE TO POUR YOUR OWN WINE IN A RESTAURANT!" she yelled at my wife. My wife apologized and the waitress then repeated her accusation! My wife apologized a second time and as she was walking away she responded to my wife's sincere "I'm sorry" with "NO YOU'RE NOT

KC's has been our spot for the past 5 years, typically a Wednesday date night for us. January 2019 the KC Restaurant was sold to a new ownership. We are told that nothing will change including employees, food or drinks so we're hoping for the same great service, delicious gourmet food and awesome bar. Definitely recommend this place to everyone.
