Not a sit down and eat restaurant. Tried a couple of sandwiches which were good. But I really wanted a hot corned beef/pastrami sandwich. Not sure if they have that option. Very good creamy coleslaw and beef chopped liver. Want more. Will definitely be back for second helpings. Nosh nosh nosh.
Unbelievably good sandwiches. I went with the pastrami and corned beef on an onion roll. Service was quick. Sandwiches come massive! I could not finish the whole thing. I also got a side of cucumber and dill salad with some chips. Prices are right for what you get. Huge bakery selection that I'm definitely coming back to indulge in.
Pros: Clean environment, easy to navigate the store with a single route to follow, several menus posted outside of different entres you can order, friendly and fairly quick service with multiple people taking orders, fair prices. Potato pancake was pretty good which comes with a side of sour cream or apple sauce. Cons: continues to require masks and speaking through the tempered glass makes it very hard to hear each other while taking orders, need to take a number which I mistakenly missed and had to go all the way back to the end of the line to grab, no indoor dining, ultra slim corned beef wasn't as flavorful as I thought it would be (pleasantly surprised that it wasn't salty though), unique flavor of onion-pumpernickel had a lot of dried onion on top that was charred and had a really unpleasant flavor. Minus stars for taste of food and difficulty ordering.
