KATSUYAKI - Santa Clara

Great place to get some food. Eric the guy who served me was cool and friendly. The katsu burger was really good and i liked how the veggies were seperated from the meat and bread so it didnt get soggy. The sauces are awesome too they hit the spot.

First off the food is great. I ordered the spicy katsu burger combo and it did not disappoint. Wasabi slaw is not something I've had before but it is definitely a must try. Combine that with the chili sauce and slice of cheese on top of some chicken katsu and you have a winner. The fries that came with the meal were also crisp, hot, and fresh. I do wish the slice of cheese melted more however. A small detail. I do feel that this place is more of a lunch spot. The inside is extremely spacious albeit lifeless at the time I went (5:30pm). I might just order takeout the next time I come here.

I ordered two teriyaki plates thru Doordash. It's been an hour and the dasher had been there for more than 30 minutes and had to cancel. No sign of the food being remotely ready at all while I wasted an hour waiting hungrily. I hope they go out of business soon.
