The service and staff are good. The food was OK, though, I felt that the portions, particularly for the main plates, could be improved upon, given the price. I had the taryaki chicken plate, sadly, there was not much chicken on there but a little of filler of mushrooms.
Wow is all I can say ! Fast and friendly service. The food was so good , I will definitely be back. It’s a nice little gem hidden in plain sight.
I had the Crispyy Chicken Ramen noodles, with extra garlic, spinach and corn. I also had the teriyaki beef. Both were very delicious, appetizing and filling. These other reviews that claim Kan Ya's offerings have no taste or flavor are truly ramen snobs. I have found the opposite to be quite true. They are a little pricy but they are in main part of Elmhurst so it is to be expected. I plan on making this a destination when I visit Fleet Feet again just down the block. Kan Ya = Mangia! Eat up and enjoy!
