Restaurant was recommended by a colleague to try as it was voted the healthiest food in the Sacramento valley. I'm sorry, but nothing about my order was healthy from the over cooked, and under seasoned lamb skewer and the ground lamb skewer. We also ordered chicken skewer and it still had blood. The amount of rice is obnoxious. The Greek salad was bitter. The babaganoush was Ok. I legit had Middle Eastern food at Arab/Persian markets (not full-fledged sit down restaurant) in the Arden-Arcade area 20x better and cheaper. Not sure if they have new chefs, maybe they used to be better? But I'm definitely not coming back.
Asked for extra sauce they did not give me extra sauce. Seconds the bread used to be more and for two orders only get one $15 for this I’m really lying $10 for rice and $5 for 5 pieces of veggie While the chiken plate was just a piece
Remarkably good food for such a small place but it is well maintained and comforting. And if you can talk them into it you can sit out front. You have to listen to traffic but you're outside. I can't say enough how great the food is but the restaurant deserves more attention and a bigger location. Mediterranean food is hard to find and it should be an experience that everyone should try at least once. I noted 20 to $30 a plate but there are meals for less. However if you go last you get less. I was impressed yet it was a little dark. That could be because they were just revving up for the lunch crowd because there's not a breakfast menu.
