We had the same waiter both times me and my wife/friends have gone, and not only did she remember us, she recommended different and new options for drink/food from last time. Great service. The duck fat fries are tops. I will be going a third time for sure, as the atmosphere is very inviting and eclectic. Great spot! Parking: Usually not too hard, may have to park a block down

This is my favorite cocktail bar in Birmingham. They make a wide variety of drinks but focus on gin. Their specialty cocktails use seasonal ingredients, and for their house gin and tonic you select your gin and your mixer, then they add complimenting things like cardamom, pepper, house made bitters, etc.. The staff is always super friendly and takes the time to explain the ingredients. We mostly go for drinks, but from what i've heard and seen their food is delicious.

Juniper has been on my list of cocktail bars to visit for a while. The decor is so "instagramable" for starters! Finally got to visit and it didn't disappoint. We had a bit of a wait. We didn't see an option for reservations, but they moved pretty quickly. The good part about waiting is that you are in the beautiful Forest Park area, so you can take a walk while you wait for your table. The presentation of the food was great, the food tasted as good as it looked, and really, blueberry crème brûlée!! It's definitely worth the hype. You also never know who you will see there. Always a reunion and very kind staff. Parking: Parking was a challenge. Definitely give yourself time to locate parking in the area.
