So straight up the food was in the 4.5 star range. But the place was kinda old and had no a.c. so I was sweating like a senator in a hearing. They had the best spicy sweet tea I maybe ever had. The people there were very nice and friendly. If your about the spicy food this place is fire!!! The taste combinations were so different in a good way. Lots of flavor for you taste buds to get buck wild. Just was not into sweating and watching ceiling fans not turning on a hot day. But maybe since they were African there use to the heat and I'm not. Good was very very tasty though.
It was a lovely meal! Unpretentious atmosphere and very basic decor. The smells from the kitchen and flavors take the main stage! The portions were generous and we shared sambosa appetizer and two meat dishes between 3 people and still had little leftover to bring home. We agreed that we want to come back and try more items on the menu. I can't believe it took me so long to try out this place.
A must try , I just tried 4 items , 3 were absolutely amazing. The Goat cutlet dish with rice , the chicken one with Chapatti and Sambussa .. the chapatti and rice were delicious. The sweet is not so the best .. Try dine in, check the portion before you order as it’s a little too much for one person.
