Juanita's

Sad to see the original Juanita’s like this. Smaller burritos, less meat, and hardly any salsa in the burritos itself. The juanitas I went to on 4th and grove (I think) was a million times better. Crazy to imagine a county difference could be that much different. Is Juanita’s a franchise or do the regional managers not pay attention to product consistency throughout different stores?

This is old school hole in the wall awesomeness, I had heard of this place a long time ago and then again recently and told myself, Self you got to go! Glad I did and will back very soon like maybe tomorrow, see you there.

I've been visiting Juanita's -- during first my, then my son's attendance at the Claremont Colleges -- for almost 40 years. And they still do a bang up job with their burritos. A simple walk-up, straightforward menu, nothing fancy, nothing to earn a MIchelin star, but good, tasty, satisfying food.
