Jose's Blue Sombrero - Racine

We dined on a Tuesday night around 6 p.m. - we were told upon seating at our table for 8 that we had two hours to eat and a 20% gratuity would be added due to the size of our group. Once all arrived, we were seated, ordered, and food came quickly. Our server was attentive. Lucky for this review - the food is good - what left a bad taste in our mouths was the fact that when asking for additional ketchup for the kids meals, we were told they would have to charge us for it. A second margarita ordered when food came didn't come until 15 minutes later when all were almost done with their food. We did speak to a manager who acknowledged the time limit & tip were weekend rules - but did confirm they are instructed to charge for extra ketchup - but would not charge me this time. Seemed uninterested that the drink took so long to arrive & did charge us for it. Again - lucky for this review, the food was good.

Ordered fresh guacamole and it did not arrive until after our main dishes did, food was great other than the timing snafu

I ate there last week for the very first time. Wow! I'll never eat Mexican food anywhere else. Not only was the food so delicious fresh and authentic. Our waiter was awesome. I put in a compliment for him to the manager and honestly the manager wasn't surprised because he gets many compliments on this man. What great customer service. You seriously can't find good customer service AND good food at the same place. It was like hitting the jackpot OH!!! I also could have my service dog for my heart there with me.
