Used to eat here every week, have moved away years ago. The atmosphere is still beyond any traditional Mexican restaurant. The mean green sauce is still the best. Everything was delectable. Our server Hannah was very attentive and helpful. Food : 5/5 | Service : 5/5 | Atmosphere : 5/5 … More
I don't know much about Colorado Springs, so this may be a great mexican place for this town...being from Denver though, I thought this place was just average. On Thursday the margaritas are 3$...I hope they are stronger when they are full price as they tasted like juice. Starting with chips and salsa...the salsa had so much cumin in it...yuk...that's more personal taste but I'm still going to mention it. I had the fajita bowl with Carne asada...it was ok...atleast there was plenty of carne...though a bit tough and over cooked. I also ordered a side of the species green chile sauce...I don't remember the name....it was average...way too thick...it could be eaten with a spoon. My partner had tacos...Pork, bacon and mango...the server said it was his favorite thing on the menu...very mediocre. I've never said this about tacos, but too much filling that was way too wet...it soaked thro
We sat outside (back terrace) with a group of seven. Had a great Margherita (volcano) an excellent dishes. Service was excellent. One remark tough : sangria and wine are only served per glass, while for a group of a few people, wine by the bottle, and sangria in a pitcher is better.
