So initially I was like what the heck is going on when I opened my takeout boxes. The presentation is confusing. However, the food is DELICIOUS. I got the fish and chips with Okra as a side and my boyfriend got the steak sandwich. The okra is PHENOMENAL. I dipped it in some ranch and I was highly impressed. I don’t know any better okra in Bakersfield. The fish, despite being bizarrely long and skinny, is also amazing and I definitely will order this meal again. My boyfriend enjoyed his steak sandwich and thought it was really tasty; however, he orders his steak well done, so his taste buds are not to be trusted. The only reason that this is 4 stars instead of 5 is because the person who took the order said that everything on the steak sandwich came on the side and instead, everything came directly on it. Also, the vegetable soup really was a container of like four potatoes and squash.
