Johnson's Fish & Shrimp

Very good tasting fried seafood. The guy at the counter told me I would be back! He wasn't lying. Will definitely visit again theres a few more things im curious about on the menu. Would be 5 star if they sold 16-20 count jumbo shrimp

No greeting, no smile, no eye contact, no personality and blunt answers. The young adult did come from the back and said, "May I help you". The facilities were neat. A pile of breaded meat was stacked in a bin out on the counter. Left without ordering. First impressions are lasting.

This place is a gem that is easy to miss, but great to find. I drove by this place everyday for the longest time and didn't know they were they were there. I discovered them doing a search for seafood in my area, and I'm glad I did! Generally fried food doesn't travel well, so with it being carry out only I was a little apprehensive about ordering from there. That being said, it's a few miles from my house and the food still was fresh and delicious when I returned home. I ordered the Shrimp, Cod, and Tilapia and they were all done to perfection. The only reason for 4 vs 5 stars is their Hush puppies were not great to say the least. I'm not sure if they are frozen or made fresh, but the flavor is good. They are more the size of a ping-pong ball than a golf ball, which means that they fry up a little harder than I prefer. There's not much of the soft, tasty, bread left in the middle as it's mostly fried to a crisp. If that's your preference, you may love them. It's also not a deal breake
