The staff was excellent and very friendly. They are what kept any stars on here at all. The food was almost completely devoid of any smoked flavor. It could have been cooked in any oven. There was barely any seasoning at all. By the number of guests coming in, it must not always be this way. I noted when we walked in that the BBQ aroma was very slight compared to every BBQ restaurant I've ever been to and I wondered about that.

I’ve eaten ribs around the country. East coast to West coast and everywhere in between. This place, by far, has THE best ribs I’ve ever eaten. I’ve sampled ribs at almost every spot in KC. They just know what they are doing. They are off the beaten path but definitely well worth the drive!
