As a customer who has been going here since it was Mario's deli. I'm very disappointed in the quality of the product. Meats used to be fresh sliced daily. Not it seem like it's thawed and warmed up. The corned beef (same thing iv gotten for 15+ years) is not the same. Amd the quality and taste of the meat had definitely declined. Sadly this may be my last time there. It's sad to see a bensenville staple crumble.

Is it a great submarine place? Yes, absolutely. Does the facility inside need to be updated? Yes, absolutely, hasn't changed in 20 years. Are they relatively expensive submarine sandwiches? Yes, absolutely. But it's high quality, for a high price. Not my 100% go lunch place due to the pricing, but it's a great spot on occasion. The Joey sub is great. The owners are friendly and remembers who the regulars are, the establishment is a staple in the bensenville/wood dale location. I wouldn't want to see it close again.

I love this place for lunch during the week at work. Super affordable, better than Ozzie's, and a lot more options. They've got all kinds of pasta salads and potato salad, like 6 homemade soups everyday and great sandwiches. Their chicken noodle and vegetable soups are my favorite. I love that they have a hot and mild giardiniera option, bc I love it but I don't like too spicy. Customer service here is top notch, and they even deliver. They are a family owned deli and everyone here is super nice. I recommend calling ahead to place your order, or you may have to wait a few minutes for it to be ready. They are very accommodating for my super specific order. I definitely recommend stopping in.
