Jim's

We’ve been coming here at least once a month for the past two years. And there is a reason why we are regular customers; the food is delicious and always hits the mark; the service is remarkable, Austin (our favorite) is always goes the extra mile, not only for our large group but for others as well; the management, hostesses, bus staff, and even the owner are always so pleasant and welcoming; the atmosphere even on busy hectic days is always spot on. We appreciate the effort that the staff at Jim’s puts in every Sunday. We look forward to our family breakfasts together! Thank you!

Took my daughter (21 year old) to Jim’s tonight (we thought we would give it a try) and all I can say is blah. I ordered the 12 oz steak…against my daughters advice…and well, I should have listened to her. It was really against my better judgment too, given Jim’s is not a steakhouse. The steak was cooked okay but very tough to cut and even tougher to chew. Perfect sign of a cheap piece of meat. I love steak and will consistently eat all of any steak I order, but not this time. I just couldn’t finish it. Once again, I should have listened to my daughter. Why the 3 stars then? Well, I can’t do 2.5, and to be fair, my daughter liked her turkey sandwich. I can say her sandwich looked pretty good when they brought it out and half way through the meal, I began to have dinner envy. The service was as expected and the environment the same. Would I go again? Yeah, probably. I’d like to try the turkey sandwich and hopefully walk away happy and full.

For 20 years I have seen Jim's around town, but never went to one. Boy, was I missing out!!!! Their food is great! The servers are SO friendly!! Even the manager is super friendly! REALLY love going there! The portions are usually really good for the price. Everyone in our family really enjoys their food! My Mom has to have her bi weekly Hot Turkey Sandwich fix.... she is so funny!! A shout out to our favorite waitress Karen!! She is so good about remembering not only our names, but all kinds of stuff about our family. She is what puts Family in Jim's family diner! :-)
