Jimmy E’s Bar + Grill

I was not a fan of this place. I am always reluctant to be too negative about a local business and it does have good things going for it — if you’re into sports, they have lots of big TVs, for example. But this is not somewhere I would visit again for the food. My husband and I both had different burgers. They were bland and some ingredients didn’t seem very fresh. I guess the menu doesn’t promise house made but it’s pretty pricey for what you get. Overall, it’s a very spacious restaurant and seems like a fine place for a beer and appetizer while watching a game if you’re nearby. For a good meal at a brewpub type of place, there are just too many better choices in Long Beach.

The food was ok, could do better with more BBQ sauce, maybe on the side. Rather than smother the burned ribs with BBQ sauce. Service, sucked. My wife calls in her order to be ready at a certain time, and yet this is the thrid time this has happened. So she has to wait around for 20 mins. No Bueno!! The food was cold, the ribs were burned and they try to cover it up with BBQ sauce when she finally got it, it was all cold!! Which brings up a question, why did she have to wait so long for her order??? Jimmy E's you all need to get your act together over there, cuz you have lost a customer for life.

Service was good, food was pretty bland this time. Macaroni salad was way to saucy. Onion rings were greasy. Colossal burger needed more pastrami.
