Jerk-N-Go Olympia Fields

I gave this a two star because sometimes the food is on point and sometimes it is not. The first time I ate at this location the food was so delicious. It was fresh, hot and tender. I believe they have different cooks because it can be drastically different. The other day I ordered two whole white chicken. One was perfect and the other appeared to be put together. For example the wings are generally sliced in half, one had 2 tiny whole burnt wings. In the same container they mixed fresh tender pieces with dry meat. The other plate was perfect. Today I only order one whole white. Thinking that would make a difference, it was horrible. Extremely dry and cold with same pieces that don’t make a whole breast. Every piece had breast bones. After waiting 30mins, I expected it to be on point. I’m pretty sure I won’t return especially since their policy is no exchange or refund. I couldn’t eat it. It was just that dry. Time to find a new restaurant to order catering from: for the last 2 years my family has been ordering from here for our Christmas and/ or NY meals as an alternative to traditional cooking. It has always been great and highly regarded in our family and when we invite people over they always ask us where did we get the food from and we recommended for them to buy food from here as well: fast forward to THIS YEAR and that brings us to this review: ordered OVER $300 worth of catering well in advance for Christmas. Arrived to pick it up at the time THEY GAVE US they ask us to come back in 30 min. Came back in 30 min… they ask us to come back in 20 MORE MINUTES!!! (Asked for a phone number when order was placed but never called to say there is a delay in processing your order and just come at a later time) FINALLY got the food… fast forward to the meal: NO bread, NO gravy on the rice OR provided on the side…NO sauce for the meat… a $300 … SERIOUSLY???? Guess the saying is true: nothing go

The Olympia Fields location catered for a small gathering and everything was delicious and fresh. So many compliments on the juiciness and flavor of the chicken. The rice and peas, cabbage, Mac and cheese were so good too. It was a lot of food for the price.
