Jen's Fish Fry

This was my first time trying this place and it was so good! I loved the baked beans and the fish was well seasoned and not overbearing. The hush puppies were so fresh and perfect. I would of added photos, but forgot and ate everything . Prices were not bad at all. Atmosphere and the staffs energy was a 10. Thank you guys! I will be coming back :)

Being pescatarian has me looking for new restaurants to eat. I stumbled upon this one while In Fayetteville pavilion. When I tell you they put their foot, ankle, and knee cap in this food. I ordered the rice bowl with grilled whiting, the young lady taking my order asked if I wanted to add shrimp to it? YES I DO!!! We barely made it out the parking lot before coming back to order more food. If you are ever in the area stop by and give it a try. Also if you get the mild Hawaiian rice bowl get the grilled whiting and add shrimp. You will thank me later

This place came highly recommended, yet I wasn't super impressed. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant is small with no restroom for customers, and limited seating. Although, the portion size was plentiful, the catfish nuggets were tasty, but not delicious. The hushpuppies tasted stale, as if they were prepared the day before. The freshness and quality was a miss. I purchased a slice of cake, which was the best part of the meal. My husband ordered the whitting, to which he said was good. All-in-all, this place was fair. I don't feel like my money was wasted, however I would not be enthusiastic to ever return.
