Javed Nihari Restaurant

Food flavour is excellent! We were a party of 7. We ordered two different types of Nahari and Goat Qorma. Very delicious and well prepared. The naan bread was also great. The staff was very professional and courteous. Restaurant was clean. We drove from The Woodlands and it was well worth a drive.

The most amazing food. We had paya and nihari with fresh hot naan. Service was up to par and everything was delicious. I recommend this place, please try them out you won’t be disappointed. Btw! Restrooms were very clean. Also You won’t have to fight for naan like some other Nihari place ????????

Having tried them first back on their grand opening weekend a long time ago, I went back recently to try their revised recipe with a more controlled spice level. The result was a splendid Nihari experience full of flavor and some friendly service to top it off, especially by front staff Ali! Both the original and chef special mix Nihari were tasty but the latter was a bit too dense for my liking so I’d say the original is the way to go here for that classic nihari experience. The buttered naans were a delicious compliment to the meal and at a price point of $1.50, that value is hard to find anywhere in town for butter naans. They have also made significant efforts to promote their paaye and korma entrees as a Nihari alternative, so there’s something here for most meat lovers. Final rating: So ???? that I rate it second only to Ashar’s for the top two Nihari options in #htx imho.
