Decent place for Indian food. We ordered a few meat and a few vegetarian dishes. Tandoori chicken and kadhai chicken were decent but malai kofta, chana masala, and dahii vada were not good. Bhatura was not good as the bread seemed as if it was old and was not a fluffed one. Kulcha were good. Drinks were okay. A little disappointed as we were hoping to have a good meal to celebrate family birthday. I'd not come back again.
We went to Jassi’s today and what a horrible experience. Started from checking our vaccination status. We had show it twice, I guess the employees doesn’t communicate with each other. The wariness lady was really rude, loud and unprofessional. we ordered our food, nothing was up to its mark. The gobi manchurian was burnt, when we told they send us another dish, it was uncooked, we can still taste the raw batter. The chicken 65 was sour and spicy. All the other food was as bad, even the garlic naan was burnt, not sure if they heated up twice. Will never go here again. There’s so many other great Indian restaurants to go.
Great prices and decent food for takeout. The food is very oily though but I think that is how Indian food is suppose to be since they cook with a lot of ghee. The biryani do not have what it is listed on the menu like raisins, nuts, etc. It was plain rice with meat on top. Some of the meat dishes is good and some not. Meat is dry and overcooked. The vegetarian dishes are delicious. I like the palak paneer and the eggplant bartha. Samosas are really good and you get 2 in an order. The food spicy level can be made to your liking. Sometimes I get mild and sometimes I get medium to accommodate my family. They might have higher level but I never went higher than medium spicy. All my orders come with a salad too even though its not stated on the menu. I never tried dine in but I see a sign on the window that they have lunch buffet weekdays.
