Everyone be careful when eating crab legs in Jasmine. I am a regular customer but I have to say that I’m disappointed because on the last 2 occasions that we’ve been there today being one of them the Cajun crab legs as well as the breaded ones especially all had a strong ammonia taste and smell to them, the texture of the crab meat just didn’t taste right, I had to spit them out my mouth. My daughter who was with me also had the same experience with the crab legs. We’ll have to rethink going there again anytime soon.
Adequate but over-priced compared to Magnolia Buffet about a mile further North. Definitely quantity over quality. Sushi rolls had too much rice and were dry. Steak tasted burned, but was moist from soaking in gravy. No peppers visible in General Tso's chicken. Wait staff were attentive, rapidly removing used plates and refilling drinks without being asked.
My husband and I have been here several times. Mask required, gloves new every time you go to buffet. But today it was not very good. I found food cold. They must have tried a new breading in shrimp it was not good at all due to the breading or seasoning. I know we will be back, this time it will be closer to lunch. Their food just doesn't taste as good as d it has in the past. But I know my husband he will give it another shot.
