The curry chicken tastes like it’s made from an instant curry packet, and they won’t refund you when their food is bad.
Agedashi tofu was really good. So well made. The beef udon was good too. A lot of high quality beef in the bowl
Agedashi, okonomiyaki, karrage and takoyaki aren’t items you can find at your garden variety Portland-Japanese restaurant, but Japanese Express does them all, and so many other amazing, authentic Japanese dishes, extremely well! Top-quality Japanese cuisine is slim-to-none on the east side, which makes Japanese Express a welcome addition to the awesome Troutdale Village Food Carts! Can’t wait to go back!
