Japan House

Very authentic Japanese feel. My wife lived in Japan for years and this place nailed the ambiance including some traditional Japanese floor seating. It's an all you can eat, but not buffet. You pay a flat rate and you can order anything you want. You get small portions so it's a great place to eat a wide range of rolls and other Japanese food. Also had a very cool robot that delivered food to the tables!

The dishes are small portions. Use the ginger served at the table to clean your palate between servings. All you can eat buffet with a twist, they bring it to you after they prepare it. Servers did a great job of coming back often to ask if you wanted to order more. Do order more!! It takes time for the dishes to get prepared. I could've just had the habachi steak with veggies all night. I tried the volcano roll and mega shrimp. They were yummy. There are a lot of sauces on the rolls so pace yourself and maybe avoid getting an upset stomach from mixing it all up. Did not try the nigiri, but I bet this is why the concept of Japan House is a great one

Most loved the experience at Japan House! Food was awesome for being at all you can eat, and was definitely higher quality than your standard buffet style sushi. Love that they have a vast menu and not just sushi. Four stars because the wait was a bit long even though half the tables in the restaurant were empty. Most due to short staff I imagine. Our waitress was as prompt as she could be given she had more tables than normal. Also four stars because the robo cat never brought us any sushi :( I’ll definitely be back!
