Yes yes yes. Love a new find that will become one of our go-tos. We had heard about this famous kale salad which is rated one of the best in LA, and they did not lie! And that was just one epically delicious part of our meal. The Vodka Spicy Rigatoni was also incredibly delicious… a seemingly simple dish packed with flavor I wasn’t expecting. We also had the meatballs which were done in my favorite way - crispy on the outside and bursting with flavor on the inside. Not to mention that potato purée they are served with, all the yums. I just had to look up the chef Jackson Kalb to get his story. And apparently this isn’t the first time I’ve eaten his delicious food. He was also a chef for Factory Kitchen which I’ve had, and he has another restaurant in LA called Ospi located in Venice. Best believe I’m going to check out Ospi next! Make the trip to Jame Enoteca; it’s worth it.
I LOVE this place! I usually order to go or Doordash to my house. But last week, I was biking near downtown El Segundo and decided to dine in. Did not have to wait, we got seated and the waiters were very accommodating to our bikes. We ordered multiple dishes to share, all the pastas are soo good. Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. If you like pesto, you have to try their version- spectacular. It taste just like the one I had in Cique Terre Italy.
So glad we found this place via Dine LA Restaurant Week! First, any place that has an outdoor dining area, is a huge plus for us. Fresh air plus we can bring our dog to join us (he doesn't bark at all, he only sits there quietly and beg for food ???? Our waiter was friendly and happy. We rsvp via Google/OpenTable and was seated within minutes of arrival. Recently, more restaurants served filtered water but not here. Food came out quick and they were tasty! Usually, I'm not a fan of kale salad, but the waiter highly recommends it. He was spot on. Kale was chopped thinly with a light hint of olive oil. Most of the flavor is from chopped nuts. Overall, everything was tasty without being salty. When we arrived around 2pm, the place was about 70% full. It’s a great testament of how much people love this place.
