SO GOOD. Huge portions. Reasonable prices. Insanely tasty food. And lots of relatively healthy options. Just tried it for the first time today and will definitely go back.
May, 2022: There are no tables to dine in but this place will give you a big clamshell of food and leave you satisfied. We got jerk chicken that came with slaw, a giant hush puppy, and lots of rice'n beans. Food enough for two meals for $13 and leaves you feeling good.
Jamaican Dave’s is amazing! This was our first time trying oxtail and it was fantastic! The rice and peas had a great flavor, the cole slaw is fresh and sweet and the festival has a nice cinnamon flavor. The service was so friendly and welcoming. Definitely a place to return to next time we are in Grand Rapids!
