Jamaican Caribbean Cuisine

First time to visit. I went on what I thought would be slow mid-afternoon; but many customers were coming and going & this was the initial good sign!! Ordered jerk pork dinner, everything was just great. Pay the extra couple of bucks to upsize to large size: as shown in the photo this was at least 2 lbs of food. The jerk pork seemed to be a combo of shoulder selections as well as rib meat; it was prepared perfectly for savor, flavor and texture. The plantains here were the best I've had anywhere in continental USA. Completely satisfied; $19 here goes way further than other restaurants of any cuisine style. My first time trying this restaurant was yesterday and I was very satisfied. I got the curry chicken and it was very good. So good I got it again today for dinner. The lady that works there is very nice and even let me try a piece of brown stew chicken which was also very good. The restaurant was also very clean which is important to me. I will definitely be back in the near future.

I came to this restaurant on 8/19/22 and I ordered 2 large Oxtail meals, the young lady there gave us 1 tiny Plantain in each box when there should be 3 full size plantains. Instead I got mostly rice and soup from the Oxtails and bones with shrubs of meat and cabbage for $49 for the price I should have gotten all of the plantains full size and more than 4-5 bones with the rest being soup. I'm very disappointed in this restaurant and even more disappointed as a pregnant woman. Not to mention I actually attempted to order a side of plantains and girl stated "plantains come with the meal" so to stop me from purchasing more then give me 1 tiny shriveled up plantains is insane to me.
