Jam Rock Express Jerk

This place was awful from the service to the food. I was thoroughly disappointed and unimpressed. I had a call-in order, a younger guy took my order. He was totally incompetent, I had to ask numerous questions in regards to him clarifying the menu. I wanted 2 dark jerk chicken meals- usually comes with sides. The guy, originally told me, "It doesn't come with a side", so I asked what meals they have, he then retracts his statement and gives me a meal and tells me, "It only comes as mixed chicken, white and dark and we only accept cash". I thought, "in 2022, what restaurant doesn't accept cards?", but I was hungry and in the mood for jerk. Upon arriving to the restaurant, there are two young boys there - no visible adult present. The youngest offered to take my credit card. He was warm, friendly and eager to help. The oldest boy was sitting a a slump. I asked him, "Why did you say you only accepted cash?", his ignorant reply was a smile and ran off to the back area. Very unprofes

I went to this place and spent over $50 on 3 dinners. The brown stew chicken tasted fresh but the 2 jerk dinners were super dry. The chicken tasted microwaved and the rice was dry too. The only thing good was the cabbage. I've been to this place numerous times and the food was really good at one point but not lately. I will not be going back unless I hear the food is back to normal

This place was okay.. I really wanted to like it & was excited based on the reviews, but I was a bit disappointed. You can see from the pics the Mac & cheese was a bit dry and looked like it’d been sitting out. The chicken was okay.. it lacked the real jerk flavor I’m used to, but it was juicy. The rice & peas were okay. The ‘candied yams’ were like cut up baked sweet potatoes & honestly were the best thing I tasted and they weren’t all that either. The restaurant is very clean though and nice music while you wait. Maybe I caught them on a bad day but it wasn’t worth a return for me.
