Where to start. The food is horrible! Never have I seen a Mexican place with a Mexican owner be so oblivious and no care about the food. Worse than Taco Bell and being that close to the border= you’re better off making a drive to TJ for some real Mexican food. The restaurant is slightly cleaner than before the remodel but the food is old bland dirty oily etc. They should be ashamed

*****UPDATE 6/18/21****** I've been eating here regularly since I was a young kid and it WAS my favorite restaurant. I made sure that when covid closed them down I would order take out several times a week. Since they reopened after covid the prices went way up and the size of the food went way down. I don't mind paying for a quality product but not for the excuse for food they are currently selling. I will not be giving them anymore of my money and that is sad. Thanks for ruining my favorite restaurant. ???????????????????????????????????????? *********†**************

I used to be a regular here in the mid 70s as I was stationed at the Coronado Naval Base and live in Imperial Beach. Always wanted to come back. And wow, it was not disappointing. We loved the service and the awesome food.
