I love Jake’s! They can’t go wrong. We placed a to-go order with Vandy on the phone, and he provided great service and double-checked our order before ending the call, and I appreciate that. Nothing is worse than ordering to-go and realizing they got it wrong when you go home. We went for something new, so we tried the December’s 48 Special Burger, and the Kickin’ Chicken Fried Bacon Burger. Both are really good! They both were large and full of flavor. You can’t go wrong with their monthly specials. They always hit the spot. ????

Bar service was excellent. We moved from the bar to a table to eat. From the table we placed our order, two of the four orders requested ranch on the side. The food was brought out by a food runner/server. No plate came with silverware, napkins, or ranch (not a problem, just ask, right?) when I asked for 4 silverware settings and two sides of ranch, I was met with an over the top, dramatic display of a toddler in a man’s body, he absolutely threw a fit when he was asked to do his job… bring silverware and ranch. He turned his head in a dramatic fashion, stuck his nose in the air, slammed his shoulders, and pranced away with the attitude of a queen. He returned and dropped the silverware rolls as if they were hot (they were not), the ranch was delivered like he was bowling. Apparently he was not happy to be employed.
