Jaeger's Seafood and Oyster House

Very cool and quirky spot near Elmwood. Tons of atmosphere and plays good music. Had a dozen raw oysters which were fresh and delicious. Bartender was attentive and friendly. The only thing that kept me from rating 5 stars is that the wet bar area had a smell like the floor drains needed serious cleaning. Other than that, great spot and I’ll be back.

Boiled shrimp for the appetizer was slightly over boiled but crazy good to the taste buds. The fried seafood platter was a tad bit too salty. But the phenomenal service made up for it.

We hadn't been since before the pandemic. But the service was excellent and the food superb. We had oysters to start which were fresh and juicy. My husband had grilled Tuna with jambalaya and grilled vegetables and it was grilled perfectly. I had the stuffed shrimp, which was different from the usual stuffed shrimp but it was a delish with a creamy pasta. The salads were also fresh and crisp.
