Jackson's Soul Food Restaurant and More

This place was absolutely delicious! I'm glad that my friends and I decided to stop by before heading back into town. The customer service was great and all of the food is made to order. It did take about 40 minutes to get the food, but it was well worth the wait. My friends ordered the chicken and waffles and I ordered the baked salmon, which was impeccable! Next time I'm visiting Georgia, I will make sure to come back here! Parking: There is parking directly in front of the restaurant.

We Ordered 2-$30 Oxtail Meals They were mostly hard Gristle and the tail bone. Only 4 pieces in each meal. Everything was so saturated in SALT you couldn't taste the actual meal. Instead of contacting us about items not available and offering substitutes they chose to send what they wanted. Which was not the smartest thing to do because of dietary restrictions. This definitely wasn't worth the $80 spent! We will NEVER recommend this place.

Upon my my arrival I let the lady know I was there for a pick up. She informed me that it would be 20 minutes. So I took a seat in the lobby area. During my wait in the lobby there was a little girl (looked to be about 4-5yrs old) who continued to go back and forth for behind the counter into the cooking area. I’m pretty sure that’s a food and safety violation. After about 18 minutes I asked the plus sized light skinned woman, who then proceeded to be rude. BEWARE!!!
