Fantastic BBQ - the best I’ve had in San Jose! I love BBQ and have tried a few different places here and this is definitely the best. I had the pulled pork bun, and it was moist and flavourful. I also tried the rib tips and they were amazing (slight food envy here!). The sides are great - the mac & greens are standout. The service was fantastic - all the staff were very courteous and attentive. The restaurant itself is in good order and has plenty of sit down seating, as well as high tables and bar seating. I normally always take pictures for reviews, but the food looked so good it went straight in my face! I’ll try harder next time!

WOW!!! Best soul food in the area & beyond! OUTSTANDING!!! Love the food, ambiance, service and location! Try the sweet tea and finish your meal with key lime pie. Best bring your appetite, their servings are very generous! I will be back very soon and highly recommend!

The southern menu, fantastic service, so many nice people gathering to enjoy these exceptional dishes, what's not to like? It's my first time visiting, just sharing an upfront tip...unless your ordering to go, skip the first line and walk past it to a booth to check in. A friendly lady checked us in and sat us and explained how to order. There's a scan to place your order, and they bring your food out to you. The waitress answered our questions, and recommended the jack fruit barbecue sandwich since we don't eat red meat or pork. My hubby got the fried fish which he loved. I tried the jack fruit for the first time and so glad I did. The coleslaw is amazing too. You'll love this place if you're craving authentic southern barbecue. A couple next to us had the chicken and waffles, we already decided we're going back to have that. Yum❣️
