Nice experience. We were a party of 42. Some orders got delayed and mixed which was fine The steak was not what I expected but everything else was good
After hearing about this place, finally got the opp to actually sample it. Glad I did! Was a friend's birthday party gathering which the service staff rocked keeping attended to without issue. The food was awesome. Had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich and the Orzo/Rice side instead of fries. Perfect pairing with the hot and spicy sandwich and the cooling of it with the aforementioned side (which both lasted for two meals mind you before it was gone). Everyone else enjoyed their rattlesnake pasta, crab cakes, steak, and steak sandwich while I was enjoying mine. HOWEVER...the carrot cake dessert was umami good! It was warm, tender, moist, flavorful, and the icing was sweet enough but not so sweet it overpowered the cake itself. The lit candle was the perfect end to the birthday meal. Definitely will be back even if for just a cappuccino and carrot cake slice at the bar! I hope the other J. Alexander's are just as good as this experience. (Sent the head office an offline emai
