Izakaya Little Tokyo Restaurant

Worst customer service I've experienced in a while.. the same girl that took my order over the phone was the same girl who checked me out for my pickup order. On the phone her attitude was horrible as she rushed me as fast as she could, hanging up on me at the end. I let it go, it's a busy night. But, when I arrived to pick it up, more of the same rudeness(knew it was her right away). I put my card down next to my order and she grabbed the wrong order, I tried to tell her but she's rushing so fast she's mixing things together and I had to ask her to fix it twice and she blamed me as I walked up the second time to her insulting me not knowing I was right behind her. Absolutely classless. The amount of money I spend here, always being polite as possible, and that's the kind of treatment I get.. I will never get food from here again. Absolutely SAD behavior!

The Buffet is small, but the food is good it gets you full. The ladies are beyond nice, she literally had us smiling and laughing all day. The food was only $27, and it was two of us. You cannot beat that price! I can’t wait to come back to Gulfport Mississippi, and come here again. I’ll miss those ladies lol! The decorations inside are so pretty, and just oriental. I loved it!!!

Pros: varied food menu, hot and cold sake, fairly good service, fairly tasty food, good value, decent prices Cons: parking might be hard to find, gets crowded quickly, very loud Their fried rice was excellent! Their skewers were pretty good too, except that the pork was chewy. I would also recommend their taiyaki (fish shaped pastry stuffed with red bean paste and ice cream). Also, unless you like the plain taste of alcohol, I would recommend staying away from the hot flavored sake--you can't even taste the flavors. That being said, I felt the food was pretty good overall, and definitely worth the cost. I think this might be the best Izakaya in the area. Parking: When the other businesses are closed it's fine, but it can be difficult to find parking when the other businesses in the strip are open. Kid-friendliness: The waitstaff are very friendly with kids.
