Everything was fantastic! Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. We had the shrimp and watermelon starter, my partner got the surfboard tomahawk steak, which was huge, I got the special seabass, which was to die for! We also got the key lime brulee, which was very tasty as well. I was surprised how casual most people were dressed, and kids were dining.
IVY Restaurant located in the town of Wheaton, IL was a lunch spot I had the opportunity to experience & share. I dined outdoors in the private garden terrace which was both serene & charming. A black iron fence & gate set the stage for a heavy wall of green ivy. This quiet lunch spot set offside bustling main street was both relax full & food quite “good”. I ordered the “Chicken Salad” not only tasteful but presentation admirable. I accompanied with a Malbec which only added to the ambiance of this afternoon. The menu offered a nice selection of different meats & other foods either for lunch and/or dinner. The dessert I chose was a chocolate mouse, appropriately sized proportion was satisfyingly delicious. The staff was professional, friendly & attentive to our needs & our food arrived in a timely manner. I, however, did not go indoors so I can’t review but I did view the small room off the patio. The food was delicious!! The space has some history which is fun but overall not our favorite atmosphere. Lighting was dim and space was a little cold. It was an older crowd. This is the most people that we have seen not wearing masks - January 2022
