IVY Kitchen + Cocktails

I stopped here for lunch on a solo trip. The staff were very welcoming & have great customer service. I had the pleasure of speaking with one of the managers, Meeka, who showed me a great time! The Cajun shrimp pasta was seasoned amazingly & a large portion. It did take longer than normal to receive my food, because I arrived immediately upon opening but I didn’t mind because the staff provided the best hospitality & offered me an alternative for my cocktail (blueberry smash) which is made freshly on site daily. The music, vibes & food were a 10/10! Definitely a fun place to stop on a trip or to start a night out

I took my husband as a surprise for his birthday and he(we) loved it! We got there 6p with a reservation for 6:15 on a Saturday, we were pleasingly surprised to be seated immediately! The waitress Kelly was very helpful. We told her what we liked, drinks/food, she made suggestions that were perfect for us! The manger, Mika was very very down to earth, she came to check on us, wished my Husband happy birthday, and overall made sure everyone’s dining experience was great! If you normally don’t like waiting for your food/drinks to prepared fresh, w/fresh ingredients, you WILL have a change of heart, because everything was worth the wait- fresh ingredients, food cooked served hot, and positive happy people who knows what it means to be in the service industry! Smaller establishment than I assumed but a clean establishment. Short wait for food. Unfortunately, servers and hostess was not wearing masks. Wonder if the chefs wore masks while cooking the food. Came here for late lunch. Ordered the shrimp and grits, wings, and salmon sliders. Other than the wings, wasn't impressed with the rest of the dishes. Grits was clumpy, only provided 4 shrimp, and the flavor had a similar flavor as the wings. Salmon sliders were just slabs of salmon between two pieces of bread. For a black owned established I expected better. More flavor and fresher food would've improved the experience.
