Early farewell to Seattle dinner with my son on Friday, 4/14/23. He had the Fish & Chips with halibut, I had the Surf & Turf with Dungeness crab. Every aspect of our meal was fantastic. Service, timing, portions, temp. (food and room!), flavors, and value. The breading on the fish & chips was tasty and crisp. Not too thick, not too thin for the breading as well as the fish. The chips were of a sizable portion and delicious. My steak was accurately done & the crab was amazing! The asparagus was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The truffle butter went well with everything on my plate. With so many seafood options in the area from which to choose, we were very pleased with this choice. I look forward to dining at Ivar's again someday! A big thanks to our pleasant server, Boston Eddie, for your outstanding attention to details for us!
