Island Taste Caribbean Restaurant

Hubby and I came here from the recommendation of someone who has eaten there and is from Jamaica. Our first and last visit for sure. If I could give this place 0 star review I would. Tasteless and overly salty food. The pieces of meat that are given are the size you give a child. Placed an order of festival and was told it would take a few minutes and would be ready before plating of food would be done. After sitting and eating was advised would take longer because other things were being cooked and if I had ten more minutes then it would be ready. I guess because I complained about how salty my meal was and having it switched for something less salty created an immediate attitude which trumped good customer service and preparing the festival that I ordered upon arrival which as I stated to the young lady was the real reason I stopped in. I will continue to spend my money elsewhere. God bless you. He never sleeps.

The customer service is A1!!! The jerk chicken was delicious! The curry tasted like baked chicken with a hint of curry seasoning. It didn't really have that Jamaican curry taste. I'm going to give it one more try though, everyone has an off day.

Baru (may be spelling it wrong) really makes this place welcoming! He’s very nice and helpful to the guests. I truly appreciate his great hospitality!
